Clear Lake Park is located in Barrhead County, Alberta about an hour and half drive North West from Edmonton. This beautiful Lake, Campground and Day Use Area is a Gem that we almost don't want to tell anyone. The lake is Clear and covered with water lilies around the shores is has a beautiful beach with a swim area and a playground for kids. Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer areas. One of our families favorite places to travel in Alberta is in David Thompson Country. This area of Alberta is a Gem that connects the flat prairies into the majestic Canadian Rockies. Coal Lake Alberta is a beautiful lake to visit with the family for fishing, boating, paddling or hiking and is located approximately 60 km south of Edmonton Alberta. There are private homes and property that line certain areas of the lake but all the homes are mostly hidden. South Coal lake has a boat launch and campground that we have never visited before.
