When making pickled eggs you can't go wrong. They are a staple in our house and we have done several different recipes and they have all been fabulous; however this recipe is super simple and quick and they taste great! We like our pickled eggs sour so we recommend a 2/3 ratio Vinegar and 1/3 Water. Your can use what ever Vinegar you want but we recommend a pickling white vinegar for this recipe. Herbs whether fresh or dried can have many benefits for your flock. You can purchase herbs from your local Supermarket they will have several dried varieties but in smaller packages. They will also carry fresh herbs but depending on where you live it can be hard to get a good selection most of the year.
